first night of Carnaval, 2011

The Crew, Carnaval 2011

Come spend Carnaval with our family! I am an American living in Brazil with my Brazilian wife and our 6 year old son. We've been renting beds for years now and can provide lots of advice as to what to do and what to avoid during the Carnaval season. Although we all like to have fun and the beer and caipirinhas will be flowing, we do ask that any hard-core partyers think twice about staying here.

We are offering two rooms in our home for the week of Carnaval: February 16 through February 22, 2012. The best breakfast in Salvador is included, as well as 1 hour of internet use per day.

We have had guests from:

Argentina * Australia * Brazil * Canada * Colombia * England * France * Greece * Holland * Israel * Italy * Ivory Coast * Japan * Mexico * Peru * Scotland * South Africa * USA * Venezuela

We hope to see you soon!

Location, Location, Location!

We live very close to the parade route in the center of the city (Neighborhood Largo 2 de Julho) - a two minute walk and you are in the center of the action. The parade route goes down Avenida Sete de Setembro and comes back up Rua Carlos Gomes (see Google Maps). Our neighborhood is about a 15 minute walk from Pelourinho, the main tourist destination. We have a large renovated historical house (very clean) with washing machine, internet (DSL and wireless- bring your laptop!). The street is residential and is not on the beach. Contact me at carnaval@kfpro.com for more info.
